Join us for our March STWIB event in the Talbot Hotel, Clonmel, featuring a guest speaker, a member soapbox session, and plenty of time for networking and connection.

It’s a great opportunity to learn, share what you’re working on, and connect with other women in business across the region in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Time: 6pm networking starts with official meeting starting at 6.30pm

John O’Shannan of Lean BPI will talk to members about Helping Small Businesses Go Digital: Lessons from Real Businesses. John is the Founder and Managing Director of LeanBPI, a specialist consultancy supporting small businesses through lean, green, and digital improvement.

We’ll also have a Soapbox Session with Sam Slattery of Bloodwise

It promises to be an informative and valuable evening, and we look forward to welcoming you all.

South Tipperary Women in Business – February Event

Claire Treacy, Employer Relations Officer with the Tipperary Department of Social Protection, as our main speaker on the night. Claire will be sharing practical insights for employers, including supports, schemes, and guidance available to help businesses grow, sustain, and future-proof their workforce.

We’ll also have a Soapbox Session with Elsie Rafter - E.M Rafter & Co / LC Coaching, who will cover:

-Common mistakes businesses make when filing accounts and tax returns in 2025

-What to improve and prepare for as we move into 2026

-From a coaching perspective, a few simple strategies to help protect yourself more in business (time permitting)

January STWIB Meeting – Kicking Off 2026 with a Bang!

We’re starting the new year strong with our first South Tipperary Women in Business meeting of 2026, and this one is all about connection, collaboration, and fresh momentum!

Join us as we:
- Share our plans and focus for 2026 - including events, themes, and opportunities for members.
- Enjoy a round of mini soapboxes, where members can introduce themselves, their business, and what they’re working on this year.
- Take part in some intentional networking designed to help you really get to know the faces behind the businesses in our community.
- Leave inspired, motivated, and ready to make 2026 your best year yet!

4.00pm – Afternoon Tea at Sadler’s in Fethard.

5.30pm – Reiki Healing Session in Fethard town Park with the fabulous Eileen Henegan.

It promises to be the perfect mix of connection, relaxation, and recharging your energy. We can’t wait to see everyone again.

We are fully booked, there are 26 members joining us for this event. Don’t forget your yoga mat, pillow and blanket for Fethard Town Park.

We hope to have a great turnout for a fun day out on Wednesday, June 1st.
Here is a brief synopsis of the day:

9:00am – Depart Clonmel
10:15am – Arrive at Brookfield Farm. Enjoy Tea/Coffee & Pastries on arrival, followed by farm visit and explore Ailbhe Gerrard's successful food and candle business.
11:45am – Enjoy 1 hour yoga/meditation experience with the fantastic Maggie Crosse in the Barn at Brookfield Farm.
12:45pm – Transfer to Fairgreen Cafe in Borrisokane for tasty lunch
2:20pm – Visit retail boutiques in Nenagh. Enjoy an afternoon drink before departure.
5pm – Return to Clonmel
